Roadmap

Where PAR is, and where it's going.

PAR is a proposed capability, not a fielded system. Every phase below depends on approval, and the pilot phases depend on pilot outcomes. Dates are set only when a pilot is approved.

Phases

Three phases. Each one gates the next.

Phase 1Complete

Foundation

The public groundwork for PAR is built and live.

  • Public website explaining PAR, who it serves, and who sees what
  • Briefing request form with server-side validation and repeat-submission limits
  • Privacy notice and terms of use
  • Security foundation: locked-down data access, no public reads of submitted requests
Phase 2In progress

Pilot readiness

What has to be true before a pilot can run responsibly.

  • Briefing follow-up process: a named owner, a review queue, and email notification so every inquiry gets a tracked response
  • Phase 1 pilot preparation: Apple Watch only, a proposed 90 to 180 days with 150–300 volunteers
  • Deployment rules defining what may reach command, reviewed and approved before any pilot starts
Phase 3Proposed

Evaluate and scale

A pilot only matters if its results decide what happens next.

  • Measure the pilot against the approved outcome measures
  • Review results with clinical, human-performance and command stakeholders
  • Decide whether to scale — and only then consider platforms beyond Apple Watch
Pilot timeline

A proposed 90 to 180 days, once approved.

  1. Weeks 0–4

    Enrollment and consent

Volunteers enroll, give informed consent, and connect their Apple Watch. Baseline period begins.

  2. Weeks 4–8

    Baseline and calibration

PAR learns each member's own usual range. No flags are acted on during calibration.

  3. Weeks 8–20

    Active pilot

Members see their own trends and suggestions. Care teams review flags under the approved deployment rules.

  4. Final weeks

    Outcomes and decision

Results are measured against the approved measures and reviewed to decide whether to scale.

Illustrative only. Actual timing is set by the approved pilot plan.

How we'll judge it

What the pilot measures.

  • Enrollment and retention
  • Weekly engagement
  • Wearable data quality
  • Time to first actionable flag
  • Alert precision
  • Referral completion
  • Sleep and fatigue change
  • Participant trust
  • Clinical and HP staff workload
  • Injury and recovery indicators (descriptive)
In the open

What's still being worked.

A tracked response to every inquiry

Briefing requests are stored securely, but the follow-up workflow — a named owner, a review queue, and email notification — is not in place yet. Until it is, the site does not promise a response time.

Finer-grained abuse protection

Form submissions are limited today with a shared site-wide limit. Per-visitor limits will be switched on only after we confirm the hosting edge provides a trustworthy visitor address.
