From the watch on their wrist to support that fits.

Phase 1 runs on iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple Health. ALI learns each member's usual range and flags changes that last several days.

How the data gets in

Five steps from wrist to support.

  1. 01

    Apple Watch

Measures sleep, heart rate, HRV and activity.

  2. 02

    Apple Health on iPhone

Stores it on the phone. The member approves each data type.

  3. 03

    PAR iPhone app

Syncs approved data and runs the 30-second check-in.

  4. 04

    ALI

Learns your usual range and flags changes that last several days.

  5. 05

    PAR on the web

Member, care team and leader views, each filtered by role and consent.

Apple Health data lives on the iPhone and can't be read by a website directly, which is why PAR includes its own iPhone app.

Healthcare-first human performance

Readiness built on trust

You see your data first. Providers review only what you share, or what policy requires on active duty. Command gets duty limits and dates, never health details.

Step 01 / 06 · Service member owns the journey

Your health. Your performance. Your readiness.

PAR brings together the Apple Health data you approve and your optional daily check-in.

PAR supports healthcare, not surveillance or discipline. It does not replace clinical judgment, formal medical determinations, or established command and medical processes.

What command may receive

  • Fitness-for-duty or deployability status
  • Ability to perform a defined assignment or essential task
  • Functional restrictions: running, lifting, weapons handling, work hours, deployment
  • A safety concern that materially affects the member, other personnel, or the mission
  • How long a restriction lasts, reassessment date, and expected return to duty

Only when authorized, clinician-led, and limited to the minimum necessary for a specific duty or safety decision.

What stays with healthcare

  • Diagnoses and full clinical history
  • Treatment and provider notes
  • Medication information
  • Behavioral-health information
  • Detailed biometric trends and raw wearable data
  • Check-in answers and PAR's calculations
  • Family-member health information

Need-to-know access, role-based permissions, audit logging, and approved secure channels only.

Signals

What goes into a member's picture.

Measured by Apple Watch

  • Sleep
  • Heart-rate variability (HRV)
  • Resting heart rate
  • Activity and exercise minutes
  • Workouts (no routes or location)

You approve each data type on your iPhone. PAR never collects workout routes or location.

Reported by the member

  • Mood
  • Stress
  • Pain and location
  • Fatigue
  • Sleep quality

An optional short daily check-in in the PAR app. Skip any question.

Calculated by PAR

  • Your usual range
  • Changes from your usual
  • Training this week vs. your usual
  • Suggested next steps

Calculated from the two columns to the left. Suggestions, not medical advice.

Your usual range
The range your numbers usually fall in, based on your last 28 days. It's your pattern, not a health target.
HRV (heart-rate variability)
The small variation in time between heartbeats. Lower than your usual can mean your body hasn't fully recovered. Alcohol, illness and some medications also lower it. Compare it only to your own numbers.
ALI · Adaptive Life Intelligence

What ALI does, and doesn't.

ALI is the software inside PAR that learns each member's usual range, checks each day's data against it, and flags changes that last several days. It suggests next steps.

It doesn't diagnose, and it doesn't contact anyone on its own. People decide what happens next. The pilot measures how many of ALI's flags care teams find worth a follow-up.

PAR is not watched around the clock. If you're in crisis, call 988 and press 1, text 838255, or call 911.
